Lord, is it worth the wait?

You know, I've been asking myself this question a lot of time.
Is he worth the wait?
Will he ever notice that i exist?
This face, isn't this good enough from someone like him?
What should I do to win his heart?

Okay, a better topic about our dreams.
Sometimes, I wonder, if it's meant to be it will happen, right?
And my dreams, my future, what will it be if I just sit and write?
Will I get what I want?
Is my dream worth pursuing?
What if I pursue my dream, and life, as usual, surprise me with something I never expect before?

Is it worth the wait?
Is it worth fighting for?

In life, we struggle with these things, lots of what ifs, and is it worth.
And if we never try, we never knew what awaits us.
You know, we're finally here, at the end of the year.
Look at our new year resolution of 2011,
How many check do you get?
How many wishes, plans, dreams, that has come true?
Me? I get 5 out of 16
And one of them is something I never expect to happen before,
one of them is a prove, that dreams do come true.

Life tend to surprise us with things.
It's how we handle those things that determine who we are.
And as I always say, faith, is also the key, to handle those surprises with grace.

Well about boys.
We girls usually wonder.
Is he worth the wait? Is he worth keeping?
Is he worth fighting for?

And it's our choice.
Someone once say, fall in love is not a choice, you just fall.
But stay in love, is a decision.
Is he worth it? Worth all of these mess?

Well, I can't answer that for you. Look into your heart.
Deep down. And answer it yourself.

A glimpse of the future

You know, i just got a broadcast message saying : BEWARE! Don't enter the toilet at 31st December 2011 at 23.59 o'clock! You might end up in the future!
This nonsense really, really make, or made me laugh.
But this get me into thinking.
If this is true, do you dare trying this?
I just wonder, if i can see a little of my future now, will i give it a try?
To be honest, I wonder a lot of things, so maybe a little glimpse of the future will do.
The person I'm gonna marry, my dreams, my house, my career, what would it be like in 10 years?
Will everything be fulfilled as i wish?
Or will life offer me something better?
And you know, this really is funny, of course you'll end up in the future, when you come out of that toilet, it will be 2012! hahahahah
But really, I'm asking you.
If you can see a little of your future through a certain things, like that, like this nonsense or any other nonsense, will you give it a try?
I will.
But life, life is about uncertainty.
In life, everything is possible, that's why we can not see the future.
We can only worry about it, an solve nothing.
That's why there's this one thing called faith.
Believing in God's plan.
Whatever it is, it will work out in the end.
Everything is beautiful in the end.
If it's not, it's not the end.
A glimpse of the future, how interesting huh?
Just a little peek of me 10 years from now will do. a 5 minutes peek.
But sadly, no one is offering that kind of deal to me.
What about you? I know you're lying when you say you don't want to peek to your future.
Everybody wants a little peek to the future.
But like I say, life is about uncertainty, and how we deal with it.
So, we can only believe.
You know, worrying means you don't believe your God enough.
So stop worrying. Just believe, whatever happens now, it will be worth it.

Faith

You know the cheesy feeling you get when it's Christmas, and it's raining, and the suddenly you feel all alone?
I do. And it's strange.
At this moment I wonder what my future will be like,
especially after a little shake to my faith before,
I wonder, who's I'm gonna marry?
Is he older, taller?
Will he be stunning? Or will he be the boy next door?
The one I never saw coming?
I like surprise, by the way, so, Father in heaven, surprise me please :)
I wonder, how would he propose?
And the most important thing is,
when will i meet him?
yes, me, with so many posts saying "Be patient girls, wait for the right person girls" also have this time, a moment when I question everything about my life to God.
And the answer is simple.
Faith.
Have some faith.
In this kind of moment I also question if He knows what my desire is.
I question if He cares about my existence.
I question whether or not He listens to my prayer.
And I smile. Faith.
The difference between loser and winner is their faith.
God is writing our life.
Dreams weren't meant to be broken.
Dreams have no expiry dates, rite?
Looking back, my life has been wonderfully blessed.
So maybe now, you have your faith shaken too.
But don't worry. He knows best.
FAITH is the answer.
Your dream man? Your dream girl? He knows best.
He has prepared, or He's preparing the best person for you.
Whoever that may be. Believe. Have faith.

Mr. Perfect and Sincerity

I am having a little crush with this Mr. Perfect, my senior.
And as always, I tell things like this to my big old brother.
And what  surprised me was what he said,
"Usually, what wins a good man's or woman's heart, is sincerity,"
Yes, sincerity.
And this Mr. Perfect is really someone perfect.
It seems like he has no flaws!
I mean, every single girl, even the prettiest, are having a crush on him.
Some make a move, and some coward like me, well, just write a notes about him.
But what I'm going to share isn't this Mr. Perfect.
It's about sincerity.
This makes me question myself.
Am I sincere?
Or do i have a little crush on him, okay, big crush on him because he's perfect?
Because he match my list?
Sincere means you do everything because you love him, and you do just everything, with no intention of having it back. You don't consider spending your time with him as an investment to the future. You just simply love spending your time with him.
Sincere means wanting to be there for him.
In good, or bad, sickness and health, and through thick and thin.
Oh yes babe, you should question yourself.
Can you imagine him 20 years from now, looking less perfect, he has less hair than he do now, and fall in love all over again every time you look into his eyes?
Uh well, i have one good example of happy marriage. It's my own parent's marriage.
Every time i see them, they're perfect for each other.
Okay, they aren't perfect. They are far from it. But they love each other.
And what's important is, they make a good example of happy marriage.
What wins a good man's or woman's heart is sincerity.
But does everyone knows how to be sincere?
I'm still learning.
And I'm nothing better than you guys.
And not anyone can be sincere.
There are people who simply don't know how to be sincere their whole life.
So don't be them.
Love is something irreplaceable. Don't love with the wrong reason.
Don't love because you are lonely. It's not love, it's settling down with the first guy that bumps into you giving some attention.
To me, love is like this "I don't need you in my life, but still i want you. I am perfectly fine without you, but still i want to share, and spend the rest of my life with you,"

Not one of those girls

Have you ever feel different?
Like, yeah, different?
You feel that you're not as pretty as those girls who wears skinny jeans and heels.
You feel that you're not as bright as that geeky but pretty girl.
You feel that, maybe there's no one else like you.

Well guess what, you are weird.

And you should be proud of yourself that you stand out from the crowd.
Ever find yourself wandering alone?
Well congratulation!
It doesn't mean that you don't have a friend.
It means you're brave enough to stand on your own than be with a clique that brings you down.
Never been in a relationship?
Guess what! Me too!
And I am proud of me.
Yes, maybe you can choose any guy who make a move on you, but why would you be with just anyone?
Like i always say, wait patiently, and the right someone will come.
To be alone doesn't mean you're lonely.
And single doesn't mean you're ugly.
I mean, yes, i question myself a few times, am i that unattractive?
But then i remember the girl with no one to hold on, the girl who's afraid to even speak,
and see me now, well, my "transformation" would be a waste if i pick just anyone to be with me now.
So girls, if you think you're weird, you are.
Be proud, you're not one of those girls.
You stand out. You are bright in your own way.
You have an inner beauty only real man can see.
You don't have time to be with some desperate by now. STAND OUT!
You are all born to lead, born to be a star.

In love? Or obligated?

Do you know the feeling you get when you fall in love?
When the little text messages makes you smile like a pervert,
When waiting hour becomes such an excitement for you?
I do.
And do you know what obligated is?
Like, uh yeah, he likes me, so i have to like him too,
otherwise he'll get hurt.
Or, uh well, it's better than no one at all.
Or even worse, what if he's my last chance? what if i couldn't find anyone better?
Oh dear, don't be such an easy cheesy!
You know the saying "he's desperate and you're easy" ?
Do you want people to judge you that way?
Anyhow people judge, so it's all depends on you, how do you want to get judged.

In love, is the feeling you have when you want him to be the first to know everything.
When you're sad you call him,
when you got great news you call him.
When anything happens, you just want to call him.
You just walk around with that ear-to-ear smile like a pervert when he texts you.
Also there's this wonderful feeling of "I want to be there for you"
When you're in love, it doesn't matter,
whether  he wants to be there for you or not,
you're still willing to be there for him.
How lucky you are when you both feels the same.

Then what is obligated?
it's like this, "he cares about me, therefore i should too."
"uh well, he's not that bad, better than sit alone in Saturday night anyway,"
or "I'm not so pretty, why wait for me to fall in love? he has fallen for me anyway,"
girls, when you're in love, you'll understand.
You'll have this amazing head-over-heels moments with this one special guy.
Keep in mind, you're beautiful, you deserve to fall in love.
Also, when your man know that you choose him, not just pick him because he's the first boy that bumps into you, it means much more than what i can describe.

Love is something we can't understand

Me and my big brother, talked about this one night, while I'm studying the confusing theory of Gauss-Jordan. 

Love is something we can't understand. It's beyond our understanding.

When you wait for more than an hour for her doing her make-ups.

When you wait all night for him to call you.

When he makes you upset for forgetting your mom's birthday or else.

Love is understanding her needs to be perfect for you.

Love is about understanding his anger towards you, when you have no time to text him.

Love is,

walking together in the rain, hand in hand.

But this isn't enough.

As a girls, we often fantasize the kind of perfect love, perfect moment.

Like when you're lonely and out of sudden he pops out and makes you laugh.

Or when he takes you on a  moonlight walk in the beach, talk about everything.

But these are only a surface.

When the passion is off, what will you do?

When the waiting hour becomes so boring, when you feel like, uh well, I've seen her worst, what's the point of her doing make up now?

Girls hate make ups. We do this because we love you.

We want to be pretty in front of you.

We need the statement, when you hold our hands or, well, anything.

We have our insecurity.

So guys, when you get bored, remember, you love her first.

Remember the first time you fall for her, then imagine her in her wedding dress.

The most beautiful bride you'll ever see.

Then imagine her in her sweat pants, with your kids.

Imagine her when the beauty of her face slowly fade away.

Will you love her just the same?

Can handle her when the beautiful body, the s-line she used to have has gone?

Before you say "I love you" to a girl, think about this.

Because girls, we're somehow idiot.

We will do something stupid, like believe you.
